This page lists every cookie this website can set, what each one does, and how to change your mind. The short version: one strictly necessary cookie that remembers your consent choice, plus Google Analytics cookies that exist only if you opt in. Nothing else.
1.Overview
2.How consent works
The first time you visit, a banner offers three equal choices: accept all, reject all, or pick per category. The site works exactly the same whichever you choose. Your decision is stored in the dd-consent cookie for 180 days, after which we ask again. If we ever change what a category means or add a new vendor, your stored decision is invalidated and the banner asks again rather than assuming your old answer still applies.
The legal basis for analytics cookies is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and the ePrivacy rules). Declining has no effect on your use of the site, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: open Cookie settings in the footer of any page.
3.Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to function and are exempt from consent. We use exactly one, and even it is only set once you interact with the banner, because its whole job is to remember what you chose.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| dd-consent | Remembers the consent choices you made in the cookie banner | 180 days | DragDrop (first party) |
4.Analytics (opt-in)
With your consent, and only then, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how visitors move through the site. Before you consent the Google script is not even requested, so no data about your visit reaches Google at all. We configure it conservatively: IP addresses are anonymized, Google advertising signals stay permanently disabled, and we do not use the data for advertising or profiling.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes visitors for Google Analytics | Up to 2 years | |
| _ga_* | Keeps session state for Google Analytics | Up to 2 years |
The provider is Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Analytics data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU standard contractual clauses and Google's certification to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Details are in Google's privacy policy and in section 6 of our Privacy Policy.
5.Managing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, and it takes effect immediately:
- Open (also linked in the footer of every page) and switch categories on or off.
- When you withdraw analytics consent we stop measurement immediately and delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the strictly necessary cookie simply means the banner asks again on your next visit.
