Your editor keeps working. Injected code is scoped to the published site and isolated from the studio, so you can always get back in, fix or remove the script, and republish. A typo is an edit, not an outage.

Injection suits small tweaks and third-party snippets. If you are building something visual and reusable, write a custom block instead: it gets editable fields, appears in the block library, and teammates can use it without touching code.
